I want to believe your sentiment that perhaps the first step is the hardest (aside.. could set that to the tune of The First Cut is the Deepest...) but, what worries me is that many of the 70M+ voters who voted for Trump, or the 75M who voted for Biden/Harris didn't understand that this wasn't just another election between two more or less equivalent choices. If that's true, it will be all too easy for the country to settle back into the same complacency that helped get it here in the first place.
